About the Tutor Guru

The Tutor Guru is a Colorado Certified Teacher and Holistic Practitioner, Author, Artist, and PhD candidate with over 25 years of teaching experience.

She works from a holistic perspective that integrates academics with positive affirmations, sound, visual art, and intuition to engage the whole person.

What is Creative Coaching? 

Creative Coaching utilizes various resources to connect and build confidence through metacognition (awareness of one's own learning) to promote positive thinking and empower the individual to explore possibilities.

In group settings, sound, art, and movement are used to connect body, mind, and spirit with presence and well- being.

What is cross-curricular instruction?

Cross-Curricular Instruction connects real-world experiences while incorporating more than one discipline. It allows students to broaden their lens of understanding, creating an authentic learning experience.

Multi-Sensory Language-Based Programming

This approach strengthens the ability to create an imagined whole, an integral part of cognition, while engaged with the senses to enhance the learning experience. This increases the ability to connect and process oral and written language with ease, no matter the subject, through various Strategies.
